Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much

Yvette Fernandez is currently working as a Customer Sales Representative with Transcom – Bacolod City. An Alumnus of Negros Occidental Language Information Technology Center, where she had successfully completed the Finishing Course for Call Center Agent – NC II training

Yvette worked as a beautician at a famous beauty salon in Bacolod.

She belongs to a brood of ten. Despite life’s challenges, her parents did their very best to send them to school.

Her mother worked as a manicurist while her father was as an office employee. Yet, it came to a point that she really need to find a job to augment her family’s needs.

Being a single mom, she has big dreams for her kids – to build a house, to buy a car and to send them to reputable schools. Then a friend told her about NOLITC offering a scholarship program for Call Center Training.

She was hesitant at first yet the burning passion within her to do more for her kids prevailed. She took a series of computer tests and interviews. With God’s grace, she passed. In the course of the 15-days training, she learned a lot. Her training was fun-filled as well since she participated in the activities like interviews, talk show and tour guiding. Aside from improving her communication and computer skills, the Center molded her character and confidence.

From a shy and hesitant woman, Yvette became confident and bubbly! “I realized my strengths and worked on the areas that I need to improve when I was training at NOLITC”, she said.

When she applied at Transcom–Bacolod she was very nervous, however, she remembered what her instructors told her – just be yourself and simply shine. “I am a proud NOLITC graduate Sir,”she told the recruiter who was interviewing her at Transcom.

She is indeed proud to be one. She thanked NOLITC for being part of her life.
